If your system already has FTP available, you can use that. If you do not yet have an FTP program, we recommend WS FTP 95. the LE edition is available for free. The instructions which follow are based on this program.
Run FTP95 on your system. You need to set FTP95 as follows:

Note that UserID should be YOUR USER NAME. This is supplied to you by your Internet Provider. Likewise, your password is assigned to you by your Internet Provider. You may click on Save Password if you feel safe doing so. This is of course not adviseable in a lab setting or in a business where your machine is available to others.
This should lead you to a screen where the
left window pane allows you to
navigate locally (where YOU are), and the right window pane
allows you to navigate on the SCG Web server.
Here is that screen:
On the left, you have standard icons for navigating on your own system.
You should navigate to wherever your files are on your system.
On the right, you need to navigate to your folder on your web site.
If you click on a file on the left, so that it is highlighted,
you will notice that on the middle bar there are arrows pointing
left and right, each representing the direction in
which the file should flow (yes, you can also transfer from
the romote site to yours).
As with most Windows file environments, you can multiple select in the usual ways. If you click on a file, then Shift-Click on another file, then ALL files in between will be highlighted. If you Ctrl-Shift on a file, you can pick and choose files which are not next to each other in the file list.
