This site is dedicated to the process of using technology to prepare math and technical documents. As such, it is NOT dedicated to figuring out ways to use technology while avoiding what that technology can do. Technology is here to stay. The idea is NOT to use technology to prepare what we would have prepared without technology. There are many who prefer this, but it is not supported here.

• How to use Word to prepare graphs.
• How to use Excel to graph, without using Excel's graphing capability

I will leave these techniques to other sites. I believe that students of this technique will wonder someday why the capabilities of the software were kept secret. But teachers using these techniques believe that it is better for the student to do things this way.
